Madecassoside Calming Pad

Although I used to not be a fan of toner pads, this Mediheal product has started to shift my preference. I have been using this as part of my PM routine, which has proven very beneficial, considering the strong actives I tend to use in the evening. It worked well with my skin (mature, combination/oily) and I have noticed a significant improvement in my complection. I have a very "pale" rosacea, which seems to have been improved by this. I have used the serum version of the toner pads (separate review), which I have also liked for their calming and brightening properties. I don't think it would work on melasma, though, but if you have any experience, please let me know.

This product is on a very good price point and doesn't seem (at least on my skin) to be negatively interacting with the rest of my skincare routine products. The only "negative" element here is the plastic pincers, but Mediheal must have listened to feedback, because the more recently manufactured products have a velcroe type of pincers that sticks to the pads and lifts them easily. Packaging is bulky, so definitely not for travelling, although Mediheal have started selling travel size pads' box, which is slim and would fit nicely in your cosmetics bag - I have one of those, so will provide another review on the convenience.

Overall I would definitely purchase this product again and I am very keen on testing Mediheal's other type of tone pads.
