What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special tracking link that lets a retailer know a visitor came from SkinRevu. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, I receive a small percentage of the sale as commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had visited the retailer directly — you never pay more because of an affiliate link.
Which programmes does SkinRevu use?
SkinRevu participates in the following affiliate programmes:
- Amazon Associates — as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases made via Amazon UK links on this site.
- AWIN — I may earn commissions through AWIN-affiliated retailers including Lookfantastic, BeautyBay, and others.
- Olive Young — I may earn commissions on purchases made through Olive Young affiliate links.
- StyleKorean — I may earn commissions on purchases made through StyleKorean affiliate links.
- YesStyle — I may earn commissions on purchases made through YesStyle affiliate links.
- My-K Beauty (my-k.bg) — I may earn commissions on purchases made through My-K Beauty affiliate links.
- Direct retailer programmes — I may have direct affiliate arrangements with other individual K-beauty and J-beauty retailers.
How to identify affiliate links
Affiliate links on SkinRevu are typically labelled with a "Buy Now" or "Shop Now" button on product review pages. Where a link is a paid partnership or sponsored placement, this is clearly marked with a "Paid Partnership" or "Sponsored" label.
My editorial independence
Every product reviewed on SkinRevu has been personally purchased and tested by me. I do not accept payment to write positive reviews. My star ratings, repurchase verdicts, and review notes are based entirely on my own experience with each product.
If I receive a product for free or at a discount in exchange for a review, this will always be clearly disclosed in the relevant review.
The existence of an affiliate link for a product has no bearing on my rating or opinion of that product. I link to products I genuinely recommend — if I wouldn't repurchase it myself, I won't tell you to buy it.
Advertising
SkinRevu may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. These are clearly labelled "Advertisement" and are served automatically based on page content and visitor interests. I have no control over which specific ads are displayed.
